This super romantic Amara Cay Resort Wedding vow renewal was intimate & beautiful!
Meg and Josh booked a last-minute trip to Islamorada, in the Florida Keys. During their stay at the Amara Cay Resort, the couple decided that their spur-of-the-moment trip would be the perfect opportunity to renew their wedding vows!
My romantic heart-centered couple didn’t plan what you would call a traditional vow renewal ceremony. It was just the two of them (plus me!) on the white sands of Islamorada at the Amara Cay Resort. They didn’t use an officiant, they didn’t have any guests in attendance. It was just Meg & Josh, and their handwritten words of love, reaffirming to one another how much the other means to them. It was beautiful, romantic, and incredibly heartfelt. I feel incredibly honored to have been a part of their moment.
Although their trip was booked last minute, my bride was still lovely and wedding day ready! Renewing her vows with Josh allowed Meg to wear the wedding gown of her dreams! She also wore a gorgeous braided hairstyle with beachy waves and full bridal makeup! PS: professional hair and makeup are so important, especially if you are planning on hiring a photographer! But, my favorite part of Meg’s look had to be the commitment to her location. She didn’t wear any shoes! She fully immersed herself in the beachy bride mantra that so many of my couples share and she was all about that toes in the sand vibe!
Once Meg and Josh completed their reaffirmed vows to each other, we went for a stroll on the beach to capture their moment in the sun! Scroll down to see the details!
