Photographing Meredith & Chris’s wedding at the Betsy Hotel in Miami Beach was such an awesome experience!!
Meredith is from the east coast and her husband Chris is from England.
They both just so happened to move to Seattle at the same exact time. As fate would have it, that is where they met!
The couple was engaged in Seattle on a rooftop deck surrounded by their closest friends.
Though Seattle is their home and they both love the city, they knew it wouldn’t be ideal for hosting their wedding.
Given the distance involved for both Meredith and Chris’s family members to fly out for their wedding, they decided that Seattle wasn’t the best option.
The couple had taken a short vacation together in Miami a year before they were wed and they both fell in love with South Beach!
They loved riding the Citi bikes up and down the boardwalk and frequenting all of the different beach bars.
Knowing that their family would not only be coming out for their wedding day but more than likely spending the entire week with the couple, they decided that Miami was the perfect location for their destination wedding!
They chose the Betsy Hotel in Miami Beach for a rooftop sunset ceremony and the bride described it as a dream!

From the Bride
Our ceremony location was on a hotel rooftop overlooking the ocean! My favorite moment was when we were having our ceremony, the sun was setting, I was looking into my husband’s eyes, then looking over at all our guests, and then looking over at the palm trees and the ocean. This was a mindful moment. I was staying present and soaking in all that love and joy. It was a dream!
