Some weddings just radiate joy from the very first moment, and Jeannie and Carlos’ big day was one of them. From our first call, I could tell Jeannie had a clear vision—she wanted her wedding to feel warm, welcoming, and full of love, not just for her and Carlos, but for every single guest who traveled from Panama and different states across the U.S.

And let me tell you—she delivered.

A Classic Morning with a Touch of Glam

The day started at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, where Jeannie, Carlos, and their wedding party got ready. There’s something about the Biltmore that makes every moment feel a little more special—the high ceilings, elegant architecture, and soft light pouring through the windows. It was the perfect setting for the start of their day.

Jeannie got ready in one of the hotel’s beautiful suites, surrounded by her bridesmaids and the kind of energy that only a wedding morning brings—excitement, happy chatter, and just a few deep breaths to take it all in.

And of course, her wedding dress by J. Del Olmo Bridal—a stunning strapless satin gown—plus her bouquet of white roses and eucalyptus were the perfect match for the timeless, romantic feel of the day.

Meanwhile, Carlos was just in a different floor, adjusting his bow tie and standing by the window, letting it all sink in. He had that quiet kind of excitement—the kind where you know something big is about to happen, and you can’t wait for it to start.

The First Look: A Moment Just for Them

Before heading to the ceremony, Jeannie shared two special moments—one with her dad and one with Carlos.

Her dad was the first to see her in her dress, and the look on his face said everything. He smiled, held her close, and gave her a forehead kiss. A quiet, meaningful moment before walking his daughter into this new chapter of her life.

Then came her first look with Carlos. Theirs was a quiet, meaningful pause before the day’s excitement. The kind that didn’t need words—just a shared glance, a deep breath, and the unspoken understanding that this was the start of forever. And looking at their first look photos, you can feel every bit of that emotion—the anticipation, the joy, and the love that made this moment so special.

From ‘I Do’ to Champagne Toasts

The couple exchanged vows right across the street at the beautiful Congressional Church, in a heartfelt Catholic ceremony. As tradition goes, we took family portraits immediately after the ceremony before sneaking in some fun couple portraits outside the church—complete with their vintage getaway car (because nothing says timeless like arriving in style).

Picture-Perfect Backdrop for this Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables Wedding

Of course, I had to make sure to capture some wedding party photos, and this group showed up. The bridesmaids in deep navy dresses, the groomsmen looking sharp in classic black tuxes—everyone brought the energy, and it made for some amazing photos.

Jeannie and Carlos were all smiles, walking hand in hand, completely in their element. One of my favorite shots? Jeannie casually throwing on Carlos’ tux jacket over her dress. It was such a simple moment, but it perfectly reflected their fun, effortless style.

Dancing the Night Away

The reception took place at Spur of the Moment Ranch, and even though it was one of the coldest days of the year, that didn’t stop Jeannie and Carlos from keeping the party going. Scroll down for some snaps of all that fun!

A Reception Full of Thoughtful Touches

Every detail of the reception reflected their style—elegant but inviting, polished yet warm. Long wooden tables were set with candles, soft greenery, and perfectly folded white napkins, creating a cozy but refined atmosphere. The soft glow from the candles made everything feel extra magical as guests settled in for dinner and heartfelt toasts.

A Cake with Personality

Let’s talk about their cake! A three-tiered white buttercream beauty, decorated with fresh white roses and delicate greenery. And the cutest part? A tiny dachshund figurine of their beloved fur baby Oliver tucked onto the bottom tier. So adorable! It was such a fun, personal touch that had everyone smiling.

A Unique Cigar Bar Experience

One of the highlights of the night was the cigar bar, where a professional cigar roller crafted fresh cigars for guests. It was a unique experience, and it felt like a little piece of old-school Miami charm woven into the celebration. Guests gathered around, watching the process, chatting, and enjoying the moment.

The First Dance

Under a canopy of twinkling string lights, Jeannie and Carlos shared their first dance as husband and wife. It was one of those moments where time seemed to slow down, with their closest friends and family watching on, smiles all around. The way Carlos spun Jeannie around the dance floor—it was effortless, joyful, and everything a first dance should be.

The Party That Didn’t Quit

And then, of course, the party. Once the formalities wrapped up, the dance floor turned into an all-out celebration. There were glow sticks, sparklers, and even a marquee sign that read “Mr. & Mrs. Diaz” as everyone danced the night away. The energy was infectious, and the photos? Pure gold.
