Jenn and Kyle’s Wedding at Islander Resort Wedding in Islamorada was tropical meets fun and full of personal details!!

My bride, Jenn, scoured Pinterest and Etsy in order to nail down the details that were most important to her in order to incorporate them into her big day!

Curious to know more about the details that were most important to my couple when they planned their wedding?

The couple welcomed their guests with welcome bags that were full of an assortment of treats that represented their current home in San Diego!

The groom’s dad also flew in with cheese curds from the grooms home town in Wisconsin.

And to represent the bride’s hometown in Philly, Herr’s chips & TasyKakes were brought in to serve to their guests!

One of the most important aspects that Jenn and Kyle faced when booking their wedding venue was finding a venue that was dog friendly!

Islander Resort in Islamorada is a dog-friendly resort and it perfectly fit the bill for hosting the laid-back, fun wedding of my bride and groom’s dreams.

Jenn and Kyle were able to hold their wedding rehearsal on-site at Islander Resort in Islamorada, 2 days before their wedding day.

This allowed them to spend extra time relaxing and having fun with their bridal party and family.

After their rehearsal but before their wedding, the bride and groom had a ‘bonus day’ to spend with their remainder of their guests as they arrived in town!

Vacation mode activated!

For wedding day decor, Jenn and Kyle kept it to a minimum!

The couple loved the natural backdrop of Islander Resort in Islamorada so much that they skipped added decor and focused instead on florals!

They invested in tropical florals that included protea flowers for the bridal bouquet and the groomsmen’s ties.

The couple’s ceremony all began when their dog ‘Biggie’ walk Jenn down the aisle!

Saying I do for this tropical vibes only couple also meant having a symbolic sand pouring ceremony; you’ll get to see the photos below!

P.s. Did I mention that the groomsmen all wore sandals for Jenn and Kyles beachside vows?
