This Cheeca Lodge & Spa 10th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal was a beautiful celebration of love and family!
The focus of this vow renewal was to celebrate the past while looking forward to the road that lies ahead of them as a now family of 6. During their intimate vow renewal ceremony, the Mr & Mrs refreshed the original wedding vows they made to each other. They forged a new path for themselves as well as their children. On their special day 10 years ago, their ceremony included the reading of their favorite bible verses. So for their vow renewal, they re-read those verses while taking a quiet moment to pray together as a family. It was a beautiful moment for them to come together in love & faith.
Once their vow renewal was complete, the couple exchanged beautiful gifts with each other as a token of their love, devotion, and appreciation. They topped off the ceremony by popping open a bottle of champagne to “cheers to the years”!

I loved the intimate feeling of this couple’s vow renewal. But, above all, I love how they included their four children throughout the entire process. The whole family was dressed in beautiful crisp white outfits. The monochromatic color palette was a beautiful choice for a wedding in the tropical paradise of Islamorada. Another beautiful touch of their vow renewal that I loved was their eldest son walking Mom through the crossed palm trees and down the aisle. At the end of the aisle, her husband and their three children waited there to receive them both with open arms.
We focused on capturing photos of the couple celebrating their 10 years of love. But, above all, it was the perfect time to capture everyone together as a family. With all of their children gathered at their side, we walked through the sand and down to the dock. The girls twirled in their tulle dresses and their baby boy was ready with his cute collection of trucks! I love letting kids play around during photoshoots. It’s an amazing way to capture their joyful smiles. And having a little fun is the perfect way to get the wiggles out before we set up the family portraits!
