As a Family Photographer in Islamorada, I love it when families on vacation reach out to me to capture their special memories!
Audrey’s family was in town on vacation and enjoying their time together for a family reunion! Audrey and her girlfriend came in from New York. And her parents, grandmother, and brother came in from Texas for the occasion. During their stay, Audrey reached out to me because she wanted to surprise her mom with a fun family session as a birthday gift!
Audrey and her family were loving their stay at The Islander Resort, which is one of the most picturesque resorts in Islamorada. The grounds are full of all the tropical vibes you would expect to see at a laid-back resort in the Florida Keys. Packed with white sand, swaying palm trees, hammocks, and lush greenery everywhere you turn. But, one of the best elements at the Islander Resort, has to be the long outstretched weathered wooden dock. It leads directly to the blue-green waters of the Florida Keys and provides the most amazing view!
The fun part about family photoshoots in Islamorada is that there is less pressure than that of a formal occasion like a wedding. You can come in your best “island wear”. And whether or not you wear sandals or go barefoot is entirely up to you! You can get as dressed up or dressed down as you like. But, I guarantee you that we’ll have some fun together while capturing your family’s treasured memories no matter what you wear!
This family looked absolutely beautiful in their light blue and white matching wardrobe. Also, they were not afraid to get in close to each other and show some family love for their photos.
