Nicole and Austin’s sunrise Engagement Photos at South Pointe Park in Miami Beach are the definition of a seaside love story!
Austin proposed to Nicole back in 2021 at Morada Bay in Islamorada. And now my sweet couple is finally counting down the days to their wedding at Key Largo Lighthouse Beach. With endless views of the ocean, white sand, and towering palm trees Key Largo makes an amazing location for a tropical vibes wedding. It’ll be so amazing to see their love story come full circle in the Florida Keys!
It was so important that I got together with them before the big day to shoot their engagement photos! Our original plan was to shoot their engagement photos at Fairchild Gardens. But, unfortunately, the weather had other plans in store for us. Nicole and Austin live in North Florida so they had to make the drive back down the next day to reschedule our rained-out session. Luckily, we were able to shoot their engagement photos at South Pointe Park in Miami Beach. And they were so amazing with each other in front of the camera! We couldn’t have asked for a better session!
A sunrise session at the beach ensures a couple of things. First and foremost, especially in South Florida, you are guaranteed to have some amazing light. Secondly, you’ll have the beach almost entirely to yourself. This is especially a big deal for your engagement photos if it’s your first time in front of the camera together. It’ll help you shake off all the nerves, and you won’t have to worry about any onlookers. Lastly, there is nothing quite like the background views that you’ll get with engagement photos at South Pointe Park! The pristine sand, lapping waves, vibrant lighthouses, and oversized walls of rocks!

“Claudia did an incredible job photographing my fiancee and me for our engagement photos. We do not live locally and our schedules can be quite tricky. So when there was bad weather the day we were originally meant to take photos it could have completely derailed the experience. But Claudia was extremely flexible and worked with us to come up with a backup solution for that weekend. I think the photos turned out even more beautiful than they would have with the original plan!
